Socially responsible investing

What is socially responsible investing (SRI) ?

Socially responsible investing is based on more than just financial indicators. It takes into account the positive and negative impacts of a company’s operations.

The 3 main pillars of investing for sustainability

  • Environment (climate risk, scarcity of natural resources, pollution and waste, sustainability)
  • Social (themes related to work and product reliability, data-security risks, stakeholder opposition)
  • Governance (corporate governance, quality and effectiveness of boards of directors, diversity and equality)

The United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals

These goals provide a way forward to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They support the three criteria of responsible investment: environment, social and governance.
